GIANCE Project is targeting the Graphene industrial usage implementation, in a wide applicative scenario; Crossfire dedicated to develop automotive (Stellantis) tasks.

The first component, the aerodynamic shield of Maserati Levante, currently in SMC/Carbon, went developed by Crosspreg® Graphene added, to allow its mass Production and Circular Recycling, at lower LCC cost and lower/equal weight.

The second component, the Spare Wheel Well of Jeep Renegade, currently steel made, went developed by Crosspreg® Graphene added, to allow its over 50% lightweight by a mass Production and Circular Recycling Technology, at lower or similar LCC cost.

In both cases, the LCA are lower than the current.

Crossfire already applied a Patent proposal, concerning ether the Graphene and 2-D materials addition technology, and the Graphene chemical bonding to the reinforcing fabrics.

Crossfire is already capable to produce Crosspreg® laminates with Graphene addition. Download PDF.
