The minimal amount of added <strong>Crosspreg\u00ae<\/strong>, acts as <strong>sizing<\/strong> and fills in the <strong>fabric microporosity<\/strong>, while, thanks to their chemical compatibility, some thermoplastic polymers like <strong>PP, PET, PBT, PC<\/strong>, complete the composition to a <strong>100% saturated and quasi-thermoplastic composite laminate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crosslam<\/strong> is easy to <strong>quick thermoforming<\/strong> and <strong>TP over-moulding<\/strong> by <strong>Press Injection<\/strong>, to create <strong>structural TP components<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For the time being, <strong>Crosslam<\/strong> is based on <strong>Glass and Carbon fabrics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Crosslam development<\/strong> is happening by <strong>Customer Projects<\/strong> within <strong>EC RIA-IAM<\/strong> next funded projects.&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h2|text_align:left&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;A new family of fully saturated hybrid thermoplastic composites, over the current concept of Organosheets, impregnated with PP, PC, PET and others, is gradually making its way towards industrialisation.
