A new family of fully saturated hybrid thermoplastic composites, over the current concept of Organosheets, impregnated with PP, PC, PET and others, is gradually making its way towards industrialisation.

Crosslam joins the quick and typical thermoplastic Thermoforming together with the 100% typical Crosspreg® fabric saturation. The minimal amount of added Crosspreg®, acts as sizing and fills in the fabric microporosity, while, thanks to their chemical compatibility, some thermoplastic polymers like PP, PET, PBT, PC, complete the composition to a 100% saturated and quasi-thermoplastic composite laminate.

Crosslam is easy to quick thermoforming and TP over-moulding by Press Injection, to create structural TP components.

For the time being, Crosslam is based on Glass and Carbon fabrics.

The Crosslam development is happening by Customer Projects within EC RIA-IAM next funded projects.
